PITIFUL HUMANS! YOU MUST DIE! (tm)
An epic adventure game by Mad Martian (tm).

PHYMD is a text adventure game, much like the old Infocom games.
You play by stating your actions in English sentences or abbreviated
sentences. The game will recognize adequate abbreviations (the first few
letters) in place of object names. Articles such as "the" can be left out
for faster typing. Some words also have an alias. For example, take=get,
life saver=life preserver, etc. This way you hopefully wont see syntax
error messages too often.

Examples:
To go to the north, any of the following will work:
"n", "go n", "go to the north", "exit" (if north is the only exit)
The following will pick up the ball:
"get the ball", "get ball", "get the red ball", "get red"
If there are a red ball and a blue ball and you do not specify which one,
the game will ask you and you may select with the arrow keys.
You may also type complex commands, such as:
"get the red ball and throw it at the dwarf. Go N. drop the card."

Press F-10 for a list of function key commands.

The game runs in both DOS and Windows (in a DOS window). Changes in CPU
usage during game play, caused by programs running in other windows, may
cause music in the game to play at the wrong speed or the cursor to
animate badly. This can be corrected by quitting and restarting the game
when CPU usage is at a constant level.

If you register by requesting the current address at www.madmartian.com
and send in $10, you will receive a map and can email Mad Martian for
hints. Please do not bother emailing Mad Martian for hints unless Mad
Martian has received your $10 (you will be notified). Otherwise you will
receive only a generic message asking you to send it in.

The game would probably be considered "intermediate" by Infocom
standards. Make note of any clues, no matter how obscure, as these will
help in solving puzzles later.
